Peerless is searching for a US Citizen who is an experienced DevEx Engineer. (Developer Experience). This person will create internal tools, APIs, and automated workflows that make it faster and easier for other software engineers to build products. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Tooling & Platform Engineering: Building and maintaining internal developer platforms (IDPs), CI/CD pipelines, and automated self-service tools.
• Onboarding & Documentation: Streamlining how fast a new hire can commit code and ensuring crystal-clear API docs and tutorials.
• Workflow Optimization: Eliminating "context switching" and reducing the time spent on repetitive, non-coding tasks so developers can stay in a "flow state

Requirements

• MUST be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance (you need to be a US citizen to get this clearance)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

• Full stack software Engineer: Deep Understanding of the developer state of mind, which requires strong backend and frontend abilities

• DevOps & Infrastructure: Familiarity with source control, testing frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and deployment strategies.
• Product Thinking & Empathy: Strong user empathy to understand pain points, design intuitive interfaces for developers, and prioritize tooling backlogs

Preferred Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in full-stack software development

• Experience working with Angular, React, TypeScript, Java, Python, Rust, Docker, Kubernetes, Elastic, JQuery, Bootstrap Jira, Gitlab Pipelines, Powershell, and ArgoCD

• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins
